Ford Fair, Europe's biggest Ford show was back again at Silverstone Circuit for 2018, bringing with it over 18,000 die hard fans and an innumerable amount of tuners, performance part manufacturers and re-sellers.
The weather was on point and as the clocks hit 10:00am a sea of Ford fans from all over the UK and Europe flooded the famous Silverstone precinct all trying their best to cover every inch of the show (which proved to be rather difficult). There were Ford's as far as the eye could see, from early classics right through to the latest generations coming in straight off the showroom floor, some arriving by trailer and others being driven over 500 miles.
There was such a diverse range of tuning and modifying styles on display, from low and slow, to pristine poster cars, all the way to track ready monsters, Ford Fair had it all. But it was the sense of community that shone above all.
We took some time out of the sun to lend support to our UK Dealer and long term supporters, Part-Box (Co-ord Sport). This year they had a mega display, with a dedicated Whiteline stand where parts were flying off the shelf. Our Ambassador @samthwaites32 helped us out too by lending us some eye candy to draw in the crowds with his beautifully presented Fiesta.
We managed to catch some of the action at the Ford Live Action Arena with gun stunt driver Paul Swift showing off some daring manoeuvres in limited edition toys and exclusive models that are unattainable by most. Precision handbrake parking, J turns and donuts left the crowed in awe and smelling of burnt rubber for the rest of the afternoon.
Overall, Ford Fair 2018 was a huge success, and the passion from our fans and customers is why Whiteline is committed to continually develop and engineer suspension and chassis components for these vehicles. Bring on Ford Fair 2019!
